Colonel Jiri Musílek
I was born 6th of January 1978. Since 1997 I have been working at the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic. For the first seven years I worked as an interpreter for the Police of the Czech Republic and from 2004 I worked for the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic at Civil Emergency Preparedness Department. In 2006 I became Head of the Civil Emergency Preparedness Department, responsible for international cooperation, tasks arising from membership in various international organizations (EU, UN, OECD, V4 and others), and for administration of national Civil Emergency Planning Committee.
I studied at the Police Academy of the Czech Republic and in 2002 I gained a Bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Security and law. In 2011 I received my Master degree at the Faculty of Crisis Management at Public Administration.
